The Italian Powerhouse of Igor Gorgonzola NOVARA and the Russian giant Dinamo Ak Bars KAZAN delivered a great #CLVolleyW show on Tuesday evening, in what was the opening match in the second tournament in Pool E. After 124 minutes of intense play and a cat-and-mouse game, the Italians emerged victorious, and continue on topping the charts in the group getting closer and closer to the Quarterfinals.

• Igor Gorgonzola NOVARA started better in the beginning of the first set. Dinamo, however, stepped up their game on attack in the end, and were close to a turnaround. Arina Federovtseva and Samanta Fabris were topping the charts with 7 points each in these moments.

• With the start of the second set, NOVARA pushed hard on attack, but Dinamo responded very well on block. The Russian powerhouse took the best out of the situation and tied the score with their top scorers continuing to leading the scorers table.

• The cat-and-mouse game between both teams continued but Dinamo let some unforced errors affect their game.

• In the fourth set Volleyball fans watching the match on EuroVolley.tv witnessed some great and intense rallies as both sides were showing their best.
